Website and Social Media Content

We may publish photos, videos, or other content related to our services on our website or social media platforms. If you believe any published content is inappropriate or violates your rights, you may contact us and we will review your request and take appropriate action if required.

Payment Information

This website does not collect payment-card details or process online payments. Please do not include card numbers or bank credentials in the project inquiry form. Payment arrangements for services are handled separately.

Communications with us

The inquiry form asks for your name, email address and project description. Company, event location and date are optional. We need enough information to understand and answer your request; you may instead contact us directly by email or phone.

The form prepares a draft in your email application. It does not send the form to a BTIG website database. BTIG receives the details when you send the email; your email provider processes the message under its own arrangements.

We use received inquiries to respond and manage the related business relationship. Do not submit sensitive personal information, identification documents or information about other people unless necessary and you are authorized to do so.

Complaints Handling

If you submit a complaint, we will retain the information you provide to investigate and resolve the issue. In some cases, we may share relevant information with third parties as reasonably necessary to resolve the complaint.

We may also compile anonymized statistics based on complaints to improve our services.

Affiliate and Business Partner Information

Information provided by affiliates, contractors, and business partners is used solely to conduct business operations and manage professional relationships. We treat such information as confidential and expect reciprocal confidentiality.

BTIG’s pages do not change their behavior in response to the legacy Do Not Track signal. No optional advertising or cross-context tracking is activated by these pages, whether or not a Global Privacy Control signal is present. These statements do not describe tracking on external services you choose to visit.

We do not sell or trade your personal information.

We may retain information where a specific legal duty or other lawful exception requires or permits it, including necessary legal claims. Where we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the reason and any available challenge procedure as required by law.

Identity Verification

To protect your information, we may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorized representative’s authority. Please do not send an identity document by ordinary email unless we have agreed an appropriate secure method. We will not require unrelated information merely to exercise a right.

Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Users under 18 should use the website only with parental or guardian consent.

We will assess requests under the applicable law and respond within its required time limits. If an extension, exception or refusal applies, we will explain it and any available appeal. Requests are generally free, subject only to charges or exceptions permitted by law.

For an appeal where available, email info@btigevents.com with “Privacy appeal” and the previous request details. You may also complain directly to a competent supervisory authority or seek remedies provided by law; contacting BTIG first is not a condition of those rights.

Data Retention

Retention depends on the type and purpose of the information. Inquiry records are retained while needed to answer and follow up on the request. If a project proceeds, relevant records may become part of the client and contract file.

Contract, accounting and tax records are retained for the applicable legal periods and any necessary claim or dispute period. Security and technical records are kept for the periods required for their operational purpose and applicable provider settings. A legal hold may require longer retention of relevant records.

We review the need for continued retention and delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed and no lawful retention reason remains. You may request information about the criteria applicable to your records.

Compliance with Applicable Laws

Privacy requirements differ between countries and, in the United States, between states. The regional information below describes rights that may apply; it does not limit any mandatory protections or imply that every privacy statute applies to every BTIG activity.

Updates to This Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026. We will publish changes on this page and update this date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law. If a new use requires consent, updating this notice alone does not supply that consent.

EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland

Where the EU GDPR or UK GDPR applies, rights may include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent. You may object to direct marketing at any time. A response is generally due within one month, subject to lawful extensions and applicable rules.

United States

BTIG’s current website pages do not implement sale of personal information, cross-context behavioral advertising or sensitive-information profiling. Hosting-provider processing is described separately in the Cookie Policy. You can still contact us about your information and choices using section 25.

California and other state privacy requirements have different applicability rules, definitions and exceptions. Nothing in this notice waives a protection you have under those laws.

Latin America

Applicable rights depend on the country and the processing involved. For Mexico, these may include access, rectification, cancellation and opposition (ARCO), withdrawal of consent and limitations on use or disclosure. For Brazil, LGPD rights may include confirmation, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion, portability, information about sharing, withdrawal of consent and review of covered automated decisions.

Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, the Dominican Republic and other countries have their own information, access, correction, deletion, opposition and complaint rules, with different conditions and deadlines. Use the request procedure in section 25; we will apply the requirements and deadlines of the law governing the request.
